I have never ever owned an Apple product before and today I am inherited with an iPhone 5s. I'm not going to put any sim card in there, so I am basically using it as an iPhone Touch.
What are some of the must-have apps that I can't get on Android?

@supervigilante: also, keep your eyes peeled on ozbargain as there is usually a few free-for-a-limited-time apps that hit the front page most days
if you are going to carry it with you at least during shopping. Then get stocard. Using that for past few weeks and it can store your reward cards without making your wallet fat.

one more i suggest is the CamScanner. Helps you keep your receipts. give it a try too.
i use TurboScan for exactly the same reason, works excellent
I use my phone to store receipts, too. If you use onedrive app, or google drive app, you can 'scan' directly to online storage. They also have OCR so if you search for the store or item name, it is easy to find. For larger appliances, I create a folder and add the user manual as well.
