Every year, we give away the experience of a lifetime in the DPRK.
This refers to any standard 4 night 5 day YPT group tour, train to and from Beijing/Pyongyang and DPRK. If the winner requires or prefers flights to and from Beijing/Pyongyang the extra charge for these are the responsibility of the prize winner.
2nd prize is 50% off any international tour (Chernobyl, Iran, Central Asia, and more!)
For the record I've decided not to partake in this comp.
Good Luck!!!!

"North Korea has sentenced an American student to 15 years of hard labor after accusing him of removing a political banner from a hotel. … Warmbier had traveled to Pyongyang on a trip organized by Young Pioneer Tours, a China-based travel company. He was arrested on January 2, 2016, as he was about to board a plane to leave the country, on the charge of committing a hostile act against the state."

Few days early for April Fools?

um, no, not going there for my lifetime thanks.
Been to DPRK with another tour company before. Great fun and very educational (especially those with an interest in human rights and politics). Just don't do anything stupid (e.g. what that American kid did). After all, you're in a dictatorship. Note: we had to hand in our mobiles and passports when we did it in 2012. Not sure if things have changed since.

+1
I was interested and read the wikitravels a few years ago.
Read up on it if you have time.
This kid obviously didnt
Wow. This sounds like FUN, FUN, FUN.
Always wanted to time travel. Don't think the Dark Ages would be my preferred era though.
Anyone considering actually going to NK should make sure they take out plenty of insurance. Life, disability, etc. And if you're a golfer heading to Japan make sure it's "Hole-In-One" insurance.
Do you think travel insurance would cover imprisonment?
I've actually been to NK with this tour group. They were great!
Thanks!
