Where to repair LG G4 Smashed Screen Melbourne?

Hi Ozbargain Community,

I smashed my Lg G4 screen pretty bad and cracks are all across the screen. The touch screen still works fine, however I still want to get it repaired and got a quote from LG which was $180. I'm based in Melbourne and was wondering if there are any reputable, cheap repair shops someone could recommend and also I was wondering is there any difference between getting it repaired by LG compared to a repair shop?

Lastly the bezel is also cracked not sure if that would make a difference.

    LG Repair
    If something goes wrong after repair (existing or new), you can still get them to repair it again until you are satisfied

    Repair shop
    It's the repairer's words against yours for any existing or new problems that appear after repair

    Depends on your budget as well. For repair shop, I suggest gumtree or google?

    Are you not comfortable buying the parts off eBay and fixing it yourself?

    if LG are saying $180 go to them.
    It seems sony and LG screen are expensive in the cheapie repair stores (I am Qld).
    A LG G3 screen has cost me $220 and one of these type stores.

    Cheapest I found was PK repairs for $140. $180 for an official repair sounds prudent, as my screen cracked slightly within two weeks (not a big deal, not sure who is at fault?)…
