That's more than my F&P fridge. Should appeal to extra hard core wine buffs.
I reckon Hugh. Hey actually I've got a $20 off jackswine voucher that I should post. Combined with this deal thats a massive $520 off :) Bargain!!
Be careful with the F&P fridge as the anti-condensation system used in their wine coolers can dry out your corks resulting in ruined wines.
Well, I wonder if your F&P fridge looks as big and nice as this one. This looks like a Vintec fridge. Vintec charges more than 2 times the price of this VinoVault.
I saw some on Grays big sale newsletter last week. Looks like their name is as comparable as big brands Grays advertised in their newsletter.
Jan?? Are you in Hobart or Sydney?? Do you know how much it costs to ship to Hobart? Will we see you here again after this deal is ended? Are you related to the poster?? Not declaring this is an offense here at Ozbargain. Not only that our users are a little more intelligent that you think. When they smell a rat they just avoid the company period!! It's a trust thing
For the record I'm not related to Jan and as far as i know Jan and i have never met. As for seeing me here when this deal is over well that depends on whether i get treated like this every time i post something. Ive found a few deals on here in the past that have saved me a considerable about of money so i sign up and share one that i haven't seen on here and it seems to have started a fight, if that's how people that post here are treated then the bargains i find will be kept to myself.
Here is the link to Gray's Whitegood sale guys!

Sockpuppeting?
sure looks like it!
SHOCK!
HORROR!
Surely not?
Nooooooooooooooo!whats sockpuppeting?
Seems i've been blocked by all the negative votes so if anybody is reading this check out this tv i was thinking of posting and maybe it will see the boards here. http://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-lcd-led-plasma/soniq/50-inch-hig…
I am just telling you guys that I have seen this brand on Grays Online newsletter. Go ask Grays!
Think carefully…..DID I TELL YOU GUYS THAT YOU MUST BUY THESE FRIDGES?
ozpete, I am a new user. What's wrong with signing up on ozbargain just because I have time to hunt for bargains during Easter?
If I SUPPORT something, it means that I am from that company? Alright, after being a member for 30 days, I am going to put a NEGATIVE vote for everything that you guys post because I don't think this is fair for me.
I set TAS due to privacy concerns I have. I don't think I am the only one doing this on this site anyway. I do this for Facebook and everything. What's the big deal?
Jan-Aust and Whalanboy
Interesting comments. It just happens two people really interested in such a POPULAR consumer item at about the same time. 1 posts the dael, the other finds the deal great enough to join and post a positive within minutes of it occuring.
That's what the others here are saying - looks fishy, smells fishy and really your defense of the posts are beyond words. Really is it that big a deal you go some critical comments?
The internet is full of scammers and opportunists who want to prey on unsuspecting consumers.
As bargain hunters the people here are sceptical of so called deals, and rightly so.
The questions I asked of you were based on comments you made. Again at around midnight the same time as the post was made, you know so much about shipping costs etc, make out like a buyer, and at that point your profile said you lived in Tassie. So i questioned that. I didn't vote negative, and now you go on the attack.?
jan_aust if you pull the vote negative game, we'll ban you instantly.
Sorry to disagree ozpete but nowhere did i say anything about shipping costs , i saw a bargain being advertised and posted it here only to have a few users start to attack me for posting it. I then defended myself as far as i could. I had posted a comment about F&P wine fridges that i learnt from my research before purchasing one. To verify that comment see here http://www.fisherpaykel.com.au/product/refrigeration/refrige….
Do me a favour, your a moderator here, just delete this thread. I was trying to share what i thought was a bargain and it seems to have caused a problem. This is the last post here for me, i am closing my account and informing people that i know of my negative experience here. Goodbye!Sorry that's the way you feel, both you and Jan-aust react the same way to queries about your post. Both of you come here at the same time, with excitement about the same deal etc, coincidences maybe, but as I indicated bargain hunters here are not your average consumer. They are looking for genuine bargains, and if something doesn't seem genuine, they will get critical of it. I was asking questions of Jan because of these coincidences.
Bargains from new people voted up by another new person raises questions that the members react to. Comments made by people related to a deal is not allowed here - Sockpuppetting. We pride ourselves on the fact that we do let retailers etc post here, but comments and voting to be genuine. If I am looking a buying something in a store and a stranger comes up and tells me how great the deal is, frankly I would be the first out the door, suspecting I am being setup by someone in league with the store.
Lets make the assumption you are both a victim of coincidences. As new members you should see that there is benefits that our members see that comments are genuine, its protection for us all. Like the body scanners at airports, if they register a false reading on you at least you have the comfort of knowing that the place is safe. But if you have something to hide, it could be issue.
And really with a high demand consumer item like a $1000+ wine fridge, were you expecting high votes from xbox users who go for broadband technology driven pizza and high energy drinks, that supplement their 50 year old bottles of Grange Hermitage, when the best bottles of wine that sit in their cellars are likely to have screw caps??
Ozpete, I know that you are the moderator…supporting some other people's comment doesn't meant that I am reacting in the same way right? So does it mean I HAVE to disagree?
You have to understand that as a new user trying posting a comment and somehow getting attacked by no reason….getting a negative vote….how would you feel if you were me?
You don't need to give me all sort of example as if I don't know what you mean….but this doesn't help me having a really negative thought about OzBargain.
To me…I think this is a really bad experience on OzBargains…mind you…if something is good, it spreads to 10 people….if something is bad (i.e. my extremely bad experience on OzBargains), it spreads to thousands of people.
I am absolutely disappointed by you, being a moderator who represents OzBargains. Unfortunately, I can't speak highly of OzBargains because I am getting victimised by OzBargains taking an extremely negative view of me (someone who is new here and the moderator doesn't even know me). If I had an opportunity to vote for OzBargains somewhere, I would vote negative.
However, my initial comment about this wine fridge still stands and I won't take my words back. For users who are reading this, please note that I do NOT have any association with the company. It is up to you all to decide whether this is a good deal. I voted positive because I reckon it is a better deal than getting a Chinese made Vintec wine fridge from DJs for thousands of dollars.
jan-aust - you really need to lighten up. I am a mod here I don't control what others think or do. I tried explaining that to you.
People can vote the way they like as long as they explain why they do that. READ the rules. I or any other MOD can't and wont tell them what to do, unless they break the rules. They didn't break the rules.
I try explaining to you how things work here and all the stupid thanks you can give me is that I have disappointed you, its a post, the people here didn't like it. It wasn't even YOUR post. Look at your post on the beer fridge. Was that voted down?
You just join here, go look around, get the feel of the place like any sensible person does, then see how you fit in or if it doesn't suit move on. Stop telling us how to run this site without at least looking around. Grab a bottle of wine from your cooler and enjoy the moment ….
And while you are there again reflect on the coincidences.
This guy you don't know posts a great deal about a wine cooler, you know those HIGHLY popular items, at around midnight on Good Friday and within minutes you happen to join and post a positive vote and comments, no vote on any other deal, just this new deal from another new person midnight on a holiday. Now that's not saying you are related, but others thought it was. So you were asked based on their assessments which they are entitled to have.. and you blow up?
I then try to point this out as a matter of explanation on the way things work here and you have a go at me…. have another glass of wine, and dont be disappointed. If you then leave go in peace…
You should really put the price in the title as per the posting rules.
Price is $1390! LOL!!!
