Hello Hive Mind,
Please advise me in regards to my impending purchase of a 2nd hand car.
I'm looking specifically at the Nissan Dualis Ti (around 2012) because I'm after
* 7 seats
* SUV
* 'decent' Make (i.e. better than Holden, Kia, but not as expensive as a BMW, Audi)
I would much prefer a private sale over a dealer used.
The ones I'm finding locally cost in the range $20k-25k.
Are there any known issues with this Make/Model/Year? Any other general advice?
Thanks,

We have a Dualis (not the +2) and would definitely get one again. Ours is the 2014 model and we're very pleased with it.
i looked at a dualis and an outlander in 2013 and especially wanted 7 seats.
the +2 seats in the dualis would only just fit midgets with out legs.
I bought the outlander.
I've sat in the back row (and I'm 183cms) and while it's not great for long distances it is ok if you have to do it.
and the outlander has a decent stereo for playing "debaser" on.

The back row seats on the Dualis+2 are such an afterthought it's not funny!
OP, who's going in the back back?
Even the 2nd row is small. It would really only fit 2 adults and 5 kids.
Did you end up getting a Dualis + 2?
I'm shopping for one atm. :)
Hi OP
I was hell bent on Qualis 7 Seats until I took the outlander for a test drive; the 7 seaters in Qualis are very hard to find and I didnt find the looks very appealing; its too compact but it depends on what you want to use it for.
If you go through the reviews I think they are made in UK and common issues are the interior parts; wouldnt have a clue about the engine. Iam in the same boat looking for a SUV;
All the best with your find
