      That is what they were in past. Now they have come up with better customer service, full satisfaction or money back.

      • +5

        Past.. Not that long ago i've had my tickets/emails avoided by everbuying.

        About 2 weeks to be exact, customer service changed that much…. You deserve gold medals :)

      • +2

        MM….do you think these are the genuine product?

      • +11

        yes because showing everyone that this store is incredibly bad in customer service / warranty process and reviews means I should "go away"

        for anyone else thinking about buying off these clowns they can read it before making the decision to give them any money. Hopefully they make the right choice and do not give them any at all.

        • +5

          @Spackbace: the website has loads of negativity associated with it, I posted the proof if you re-read the first comment

        • -1

          @Spackbace: yes because of their rating I promise never to buy a product that OzBargain sells directly

        • +2

          @Makoto: Have you bought from Everybuying before?

          How was the neg-rape feel?
          Do you feel that OZB have a flaw on their reddit's bias voting system?

          4chan perhaps better in some case

        • @rodinthink:

          Hehe it's fun getting negged down sometimes :)

        • @Spackbace:

          Dem adrenaline feeling

      Why has this comment got -4 votes in 15 minutes? Seems a bit sus…

      • +4

        shills for the company. I point to websites with reviews of the store and get instantly downvoted by people associated with the store. :)

        • +1

          Store reps can't neg vote.

        • +2

          @Spackbace:

          Store reps can't neg vote.

          Correct. However, "shills' can.

        • -1

          @A3Australia:

          Well, yeah, but that's up to the mods. Afaik they can see the neg voters, they could quickly work that out.

          If people thought there were multiple fake accounts voting on comments, might be best to take the tin-foil hats off ;)

    You wanna explain this?

      Who's rep would you trust more?

      • +11

        Monty's associated with the store, definitely no conflict of interest right? I wasn't taking sides with any Ozbargain members, but looking on Google, there's A LOT of people complaining about this, people who actually have no motive to lie about this. And even after a year of scamming, this guy keeps the exact email, it literally takes 2 minutes to make a new email address and clear your name..

        But still, I'll wait and see if I get my product and it's as described.

        edit: monty upvoted your comment so he's seen mine, since he doesn't know address it I'm gonna say this site is still shifty and dirty as ever.

      • +4

        I'd trust the thousands of reviews I linked to before trusting anyone. and a register date on a read-only website means nothing.

        read the reviews, 50% of customers have a 1 star extremely NEGATIVE review of this company.

        • +11

          @Spackbace: Your arguments are so strange. No one writes reviews saying that HN doesn't send products or are a fake company, or they would've been sued by now. And you think because someone has more posts than someone else, they're more reliable (when they're associated with the company in question, LMAO!)

          I think you should tick the associated with everbuying tag!

        • +7

          @didntknowicould:

          I think you should tick the associated with everbuying tag!

          That's what I was thinking, why else would they put this much effort in to this "deal"?

        • -5

          @didntknowicould:

          A) welcome to every single Hong Kong seller. I don't think any have glowing reviews. Postage takes forever and some things get lost. Order enough stuff from these cheap sellers and you'll know exactly what I mean.

          B) my point as to the reviews is that they show a biased review of a company. No one bothers leaving a positive review on the net, most people can't be bothered. I don't know know when I last left feedback for an eBay purchase.

          C) afaik, (and I could be wrong), Monty was on here long before working for EB.

          D) who uses LMAO? It's 2016 now, I'm sure you're are is still in place.

          E) I make it known what my associations are and what I do for a job. Read the forums once in a while, you'll see. I don't hide, I don't give a sh*t about that.

        • -4

          @Less Point:

          Comments once every couple of months, suddenly decides this company needs attacking.. What, no other company grabbed your attention?
          In the space of time you've not been commenting, I think I've discovered about 5 companies that have sockpuppeted, either fake votes for deals or posting deals.

          But you know, my opinion means sh*t and I don't care about that. I do care about certain members having only negative attitudes towards other members of this site.

        • +4

          @Spackbace:

          A) Thanks for telling me why I should've ran away before I checked out

          B) Sure, but I don't see many companies being shit on so badly as this, for over a year straight..

          C) SO HE LITERALLY WORKS FOR THEM, AND YOU TOLD ME IN THE LAST POST I SHOULD BE TRUSTING HIM MORE THAN THE OTHER GUY WHO HAS NO CONNECTION TO THE COMPANY

          D) You're are is still in place?

          E) You're even more defensive than monty towards his own company.

        • +5

          @Spackbace:

          Comments once every couple of months, suddenly decides this company needs attacking..

          Not sure where I "attacked" the company. My comments have pointed out how weird it is that pointing out reviews is downvoted.

          What, no other company grabbed your attention?

          No, I just don't spend my life on OzBargain.

        • -1

          @didntknowicould:

          Sigh

          Do what you want, spend your money where you want. Spend the extra and get it from a b&m store if you don't wanna risk anything. Also don't cross the road, it's dangerous.

          But above all else, make up your own mind about a company, from your own experience.

        • -1

          @GameChanger:

          CR is unbelievably exaggerated here. It's not worth half the notoriety it receives.

        • +1

          @KaptnKaos: Could you elaborate bit more? I don't use it much, but I have seen some issues mentioned by some.

        • -4

          @GameChanger:

          There have been many cases documented here, where people have made purchases 'through' CR (myself included) but have not had these transactions recognised by CR, without any explanation.

          I've used other cashback sites without any problems, which would lead me to believe that CR may or may not be withholding some legitimate cashback transactions from being credited.

          With other cashback sites, you can easily claim your unrecorded cashbacks by providing proof of purchase and the cashback provider verifying that you clicked through to the purchase site at the time of the purchase being made. Can't do this with CR though. Convenient for them.

        • +1

          @KaptnKaos: Thanks for that information certainly concerning issue. It seems they benefit the most from unrecorded transactions.

          Hopefully we can get a response from TA about this.

        • @GameChanger:
          But if the transaction is unrecorded they would not receive their commission for paying yo u the cashback, their only source of income.
          Or are you suggesting they are running a fraud operation where they deliberately claim some transactions and fail to pass on the payment? It seems trivially auditable and would destroy their business once detected.
          Maybe a more likely explanation was using a browser that was set to discard cross-site cookies or some other user error?

        • @mskeggs:

          Agree it could be an issue if you are using an adblocker or some other technology which breaks the process they use to track your session. I've found starting a clean session with CR generally works well (when I remember to use CR at all).

        • +17

          @KaptnKaos:

          Hi KK. Allow me to respond to some of your concerns.

          … without any explanation.

          On 1 Dec 2015, I asked you to please PM me your CR email address in reference to a query you had with an eBay purchase. You kindly supplied the information and I responded within the hour stating that you'd need to allow 7 days to pass before I could investigate. I also confirmed I could see clicks to eBay on the said date. The last thing I asked was to please PM me your invoice if you hadn't received tracking after the 7th day. It's now March 18. Not once have you contacted Cashrewards, nor have you responded to my PM.

          … CR may or may not be withholding some legitimate cashback transactions from being credited.

          Please refrain from making accusatory statements without evidence. We are totally transparent. If your click doesn't track, not only do you not get paid, we don't either. We want your click to track. But, read below.

          … With other cashback sites, you can easily claim your unrecorded cashbacks …Can't do this with CR though. Convenient for them.

          Who said we don't do this? We look at every claim and give our members cashback as long as they have an invoice, a click through to the store, and followed the cashback guidelines. Let me add, we're discovering quite a bit of fraud as well where customers are 'double-dipping' by conveniently claiming cashback from more than one provider. We have systems in place to track & check IP addresses to reduce this occurance.

          From the above, I have no idea why you choose to continue on a tirade across a number of CR related deals stating your displeasure with CR. I've just had a look at your account again and can see you have 30 successful transactions as recently as 29 Feb 2016 via Cashrewards, and continue to use Cashrewards successfully. If only you had contacted us as you were asked to 3 months ago, you would have had an extra purchase in your account.

          I hope I've cleared things up for you. Have a lovely day. TA.

    I bought a Xiaomi Piston 3.0 Earphones with volume control for A$23 from an oversea company. The sound quality is good, but not great. I rate it 6/10 whereas my Samsung HS-330 In-Ear Headphone is 9/10.

    • Same as HS3303?

      • Not where near as good. 6 vs 9. This cheap one is even worst. If I were you, spend a bit more to buy the Samsung or Sony brand.

        • +1

          I meant the model number you have of the samsung. Are they the same as HS3303?

        • +2

          Yes, they're the same.

    • Yeah I have the Piston 3.0 too.

      About 2 months into use the left side is attenuated significantly. Sent back to mushtato for replacement - hopefully replacement works fine. Sounds quality is OK when they are inserted firmly into the ears, but they work their way out slowly.

      For some reason the Piston 3.0 do not stay in my ears very well (tried all the earpieces). The metal components are slightly heavy perhaps.

    • Haha so strange seeing this comparison.

      I used to use AIAIAI Tracks at work but they leaked too much so brought some IEMS I had at home, coincidentally they were Piston 3.0's, HS-330's (Wife had an S4) & Meelec M6 Pro's. I tried them all out with my Corda 2 Move amp and while the HS330's are good, I use the M6 Pro's.

      I think 9/10 is a bit generous but they're damn good for freebies in a phone package. Even the Asus buds that came with my Zenfone ZE551ML really surprised me, wife is still using them!

        Don't worry about the reviews they have better customer service now

        Isn't it a bad idea to continue using the same store name, email and such if that's the case?
        Because of its reputation online, are there any plans to disassociate with the current brand and start anew under a different name?

        Nothing personal against you, Monty. Respect and appreciate you and your deals.

        • +4

          I agree exactly with you Nill.. If they have truly turned the corner then they should start a new name..
          Too many issues and stories of customers not getting refunds does not make me trust them.
          One person saying are better now does not give me great confidence

        • +2

          @Roary:

          But then people call them out for changing their name too. They are in a situation where it is probably double standards because lacking people/companies/products is quite an easy hung to do these days.

          HAHAHAHAHA

        • -2

          @Makoto:

          nope,I just want to let you know that we are everbuying.net now.

          As to the review,not my business,I am mainly responsible for community sales.

        • +2

          @Makoto: Yep, they're all written in broken English, and have only made one review.

        • +1

          @everbuying:

          Yep fake reviews.. The 2nd link has about 100 1 star reviews, then you guys spammed it for a few days with 5 star reviews and now its back to a lot of 1 star reviews…

        • +1

          @centrelink: Fair point but I still think it's better for them to change their name if they've truly changed their "business" practices. Changing their name gives them a better opportunity to rebuild their reputation with proper and honest practices. If they're worried about sales, they could use Ozbargain to grow their customer base with great deals like this maybe.

          Just my thoughts with my limited knowledge of the situation there. Would like to hear the rep and Monty's thoughts on this.

    Don't buy from this lot, bought xiaomi battery cases got sent one fakes and one wrong model. I paid around $8 each and they sent me those cheaps $1 one like from ebay. I know cause I've got one from ebay and it stinks chemical odour. And when I'm complaint they offer me $5 discount for next purchase for the wrong product and refused refunds for the fake insisting it's real, so I escalate to Paypal dispute. Never again. So good luck to you guys.

    • Hi Jackfruit,

      Is there anything I can do for you?
      Could you pls PM me your order number for checking the refunds for you?

      Thank you!

  • So… are these actually any good?

    • +2

      No idea :/ there's only been 1 other deal post for these, same as the 'dazzle' or whatever. Probably best to get the Piston 3's, at the end of the day it's not much more (relatively speaking)

    • +2

      the headphones are good if you order real ones from a good site.

    • Got one of this from singapore official xiaomi store, it sounds better than my piston 1 I would say. Decent sound quality with nice bass.

    Jesus, the horror stories associated with this company are chilling.
    https://au.trustpilot.com/review/www.everbuying.com
    Seems there are scores of stories of customers paying several hundred dollars and never receiving the merchandise, or it being defective. The company then gives the customer the runaround to avoid refunding the money or trying to usurp Paypal's Buyer Protection policies by trying to give only a partial refund or dubious store credit.Spacebace's assertion that the negative comments constitute internet lynchmob mentality is ridiculous.Good sellers generally have a loyal customer base and those who have shady practices generally earn themselves a reputation for this shady behaviour. These guys seem definitely in the latter camp. The seller is aiming incredibly low if they think this sort of feedback can be disregarded.
    The addiction to mediocrity by this company is amazing. I'd avoid these guys like the plague.

    Comment Section = Yelp in nutshell

  • Is it based on Piston 3? It looks like the Dazzle edition I bought 3 of a few months ago.

  • "I recently received an email from a woman named Eva who said she was a manager at Everbuying.com and she asked if I would review her site in exchange for a "donation". I told her that the site looked relevant to being thrifty, but I couldn't review something I had never tried. I told her I wanted a credit to the website so I could use the site and then write about my experience. This was her response:

    "Hi Angela,
    At present, we can't provide any products or credit. Is that Okay with you we send you the article then you just post it. We have a team of copywriters who specialize in writing articles on various topics and would like to write an original article for you to use on your website – this article will not be used anywhere else on the Internet. So, what do you think about it ? "

    My question is: what is this company hiding? Why can't I experience and review their site like a normal blogger/advertiser relationship? I don't know. I do know that if you google "everybuying.com scam" quite a few hits come up. I also know you or I can't trust any positive review anywhere on the internet about this company, because it was likely submitted by the website's very own writers. Obviously I can't endorse a website that would chose such a dishonest method of self-promotion, and I would advise anyone to stay away from it. It can't be trusted."

    • Hi

      Can you please send me snapshot of the email please. Only Becky is in charge of Everbuying.

      I just want to double check she asked you to review for Everbuying.com or .net

      I will be very thankful to you if you can provide me the snapshot.

      Thanks

      Monty

      • Can you not see the quotation marks?

        I am not Angela. Just do a Google search. You will find lots of evidence that Everbuying offer gifts for fake reviews.

        Also, what is the difference if it is .com or .net ? Are you trying to allege that they are not the same business?
