Need a new queen sized bed base or frame/ensemble (already have matress) should i gumtree it? NSW Sydney

As stated my bed frame is broken and need a new one

Can be anything from base to frame to ensemble

Queen Sized

NSW Sydney

Already have the mattress

Any ideas :-)

Gumtree? Ebay? Forty winks? Some other b&m store? Snooze? Fantastic Furniture?

Any suggestions or ideas gratefully appreciated below.

I researched beds earlier in the year and bought a bed and frame from Snooze.
I'm practical and looked for bases that had storage drawers.
I saw a base with drawers at Fantastic furniture that was really cheap ~500 (would have bought it if I didn't own one already).

came across before some online shops where they have slat bases with gas lifting and side storage for 200.300.400
cheap. Google you shall find. they are all .au

The mattress is whats important, the frame is just aesthetics. I would suggest Ikea. Good quality for the price and the flat packaging makes it easy to take home.

A futon base under a good mattress works well.

I have one made of slatted wood so there's good under-mattress ventilation; the slat base rolls up for easy transportation; and it rests on a timber frame made up of 4 lengths of wood, so again easy to manoeuvre. Closer to the ground than most bases.
