    This. add a dash of "how warm do you want to be?" and splash of "how cold does it get where you are?" and a touch of "is your house insulated much?"

        We use an oil column heater in my son's bedroom during winter. Set it on low just before bedtime and it just keeps the chill off the room. Not sure what wattage it is, but it is only a small one like the 5 fin, and the thermostat gets set quite low and it works well. Still need a blanket, but it isn't as cold as the rest of the house.

  Put indoor climate control aside. Compare Apple to Apple, the best value for money IMO is the Aldi Lumina Ceramic Heaters

      Relatively yes. Woks like the car radiator. The hot air is even. Aldi model has thermostat, safety switch for tipping over and temperature choice,
