Was looking to buy a 950XL and came across this deal on Expansys. It seems the prices of this phone have come down a lot. It can be had a little cheaper on other stores but I dont really have much experience with them.
The Nexus 5X 32GB on the other hand is one of the best price I have seen from a credible seller.
Each to their own but Note 4 is still a great phone. Hard to fault it, and Ive been convincing myself to get a new phone but cant. 5.7" QHD amoled, gorilla glass 4, Snapdragon 805, 3gb ram, 16mp camera with ois. Expandable memory, removable battery which lasts 2 days. And about to get marshmallow in April.

I am not sure when Marshmellow would come to Australia. It's been a while since S6 received Marshmellow, G920I (so a lot of S6 for Southern hemisphere) still haven't. I've been following the update for S6, the latest one for G920I was still Lollipop, on 14th of March for Chile.
The hardware and camera is certainly better on note 4 than the 930. I haven't had the 1520 so don't know, but I believe the 1520 is similar to the 930 interms of hardware and camera quality. The advantage the 1520 has over the 930 or Note 4 is better battery life. The 1520 is a bit bigger and heavier than the note 4.
I have a 950 XL and it's the worst phone I have ever owned hands down, without a doubt. Full of glitches. Camera is ok when it wants to work. Hate it. Go Nexus.
That's because windows 10 still immature, its struggling to compete with ios & android but Microsoft already sky rocket their pricing. Bad move IMO..
I was looking at the 5X pack. It's interesting that the 16GB pack is $5 more than the device, but the 32GB pack is $10 more. Same things… screen protector + cable… but one costs double.
I emailed them. They gave some rubbish canned response about pricing and availability.
Don't get me wrong though. They're a great site. I've bought from them twice before, and I'm going to pull the trigger on this one as well. I'm going to get the 32GB one, but I'm getting my glass screen protector and spare cable (if I think I need one) elsewhere.
I bought the same 5X only a couple weeks ago from them for 544.99 :(
As already pointed out Windows 10 on phones is dead.
Not because it's a bad OS or hardware - in fact usually those are rather nice - but because the apps aren't there.
It's Apple or Google kiddies.
Xiaomi redmi note 3 pro or Nexus 5x?
For AUD 355 I can get Xiaomi redmi note 3 pro + silicon case + tempered glass screen rotector, and the xiaomi piston colorful edition. However with AUD 430 I can get 32gb Nexus 5x with screen protector and cable. Thoughts?
some thoughts, snapdragon 650 vs 808….. MIUI skinned OS, uncertain timeframe around updates vs google stocked and updated device.

The Note 4 is a fantastic phone but that was then. If you are after a work phone then the Nokia 1520 or 930 was the perfect unit. If you want some of the Android apps such as poo shooter 2, or rabbit rubber 5 then no, these are not available in the Microsoft store. The common apps are available so it is not all bad news.
Saying this, I would not commit to Microsoft with Windows 10 at the moment.
To tell you the truth, there is nothing out there that ticks all the boxes, I mean all the boxes.
