lol "Our website is currently under maintenance
and will be available again shortly, we apologise for the inconvenience."Nespresso is supposed to be running a cash back at the moment
on what?
Edit: Bugga, just read the link. Bought a machine on Monday after searching their website for cashbacks and finding nothing.
Later still…
Lol, didn't go in to pick it up until yesterday and as a result the invoice date is 15/3, the start date for the promotion. Thanks to your comment I'll be a little richer.
thanks for the share, just bought their breakfast set for $35
how? when the site is 'Under Maintenance'
Must have worked for me…
Does anyone know where capsules or pods generally can be recycled? While some people may slam the idea, it's not impossible to make these things biodegradable or recyclable in some way and for want of corporate social responsibility it shouldnt be legal to produce or sell them unless such a function is met.
Yes, you can bring the used pods back to the shop: http://www.nespresso.com/ecolaboration/au/en/article/2/2910/…
I either drop mine off at the local Nespresso store or one of their drop off points near me (a local florist is one) www.nespresso.com/au/en/pages/services-recycling
Thanks, good find OP :)
Not normally one to post this kind of stuff, but I think it's important you realise where Nestle gets its products and, in turn, profits:

TL;DR child slavery.
Here's your guilt-free list:

If I change one of your minds, I'm happy.
Hope I didn't offend anyone, I'm going to downvote as I feel morally compelled to do so, but I understand I'm on the line with the rules - I do have a major issue to do with the company, but it is moral, not financial or based on past experiences, so, yeah.

Um, you realize that Nestlé Australia is listed on the fair trade page right?
If you look closer, it's only one product in their coffee range - the "Partners" blend - http://search.fairtrade.com.au/browse/brands/nestl%C3%A9-aus…
Every other blend they have is not fair-trade.
Depends how far you are willing to take it, I suppose.
Their yoghurt for example is slave-free, yet I don't buy it so as not to support them as a whole, until their entire business model is slave-free. Not a radical request imo.

If you knew how your clothes, phone or other electronics are made you would feel a bit silly negging this deal.
Ahh. Because other companies do similar, that means it's unimportant? That's not how I view things. To quite literally call someone "silly" for having an issue with child slavery - slavery of any kind, really - to me, is monstrous.
There are ratings for clothing manufacturers, just as an example I can remember off-hand, the Target Essentials range is ethically sourced. Regardless, most of my clothing is charity shop merch.
As for electronics, likewise, know your brands -
AMD, Nvidea, Intel - all fine,
I'd avoid Asus, Seagate and WD, Toshiba and Lenovo, where possible. At the end of the day, you're quite correct - it is difficult to shop ethically…does that mean you shouldn't try?
If so, I would respectfully disagree.

The Gent
