Great value, great performance and they work as expected. What more could you want?

It's not a dupe as this item isn't in the subject of that deal post.

      • It is one of that deal right.

          Read the rules, it's not a DUP……

        • @Maverick-au:

Ok I got it. My bad.
The original deal is a list of multiple items and the item is not contained in the title of the original deal. Related forum discussion.

Not a dupe, but OP should at least give credit to the original post IMO.

  • I have a 64GB one of these but I had to stop using it after about 1 year because it was disconnecting and getting corrupted. Turns out these things draw too much power and overheat. It was causing problems with all the usb ports on my computer. They may have fixed the issue, but you can't afford to put anything precious on these, and don't leave them plugged in for too long. One guy who measured it said that his device drew 896 mA vs the earlier Cruzer Fit which drew 200 mA. The USB power standard is for 500 mA.

It's a real shame that these devices aren't more reliable because I really liked having it permanently stuck in my computer as extra storage. Other flash drives stick out too far to be permanently inserted.

  • It's great and fast but does this thing get hot!!! You pull it out and your skin touches the metal and you find yourself playing hot potato. Do I regret buying this sexy bit of tech nope.

Thanks OP. Just got one. AU$41.37 all up for delivery to Melbourne.

  • Would rather pay $10 extra or so and go with the Samsung equivalent. Still the same small profile but doesn't have the heat issues that the Sandisk ones do.

    • any deals going on the Samsung one you are aware of ?

      • Looking at $37 USD shipped approx via Amazon.com

  • Debated it too long, now the price is 39.99 usd
