Perhaps it's like A2 Milk, where you pay more for less (protein variety) and then "Believe in better"? "More is less", "Grass is greener…", etc.
Lurpak is a butter… The spreadable has vegetable oil. http://www.lurpak.com/en-au/our-products/ It's not one of those butter alternatives like "can't believe it's not butter". Danish Lurpak is sold all over the world and is most definitely one of the nicest butters on the market.

yes, when you get it, it's nice and fresh and doesn't oxidise as quick, Australian butter seems to turn deep yellow (oxidise / rancid) quicker ….. often even after you've just unwrapped it.
I buy the lurapak when it's 50% off ….. but I don't think this spreadable stuff is like real butter ?

Coles dont stock sugar free mother in the 4 x 500 ml, which is a shame because if they did I'd buy it by the suitcase full at this price…
