27 Inch Monitor for Gaming

Hi folks. I'm looking for a good 27 inch 1440p gaming monitor.

I have a Sapphire Radeon R9 290.

I'm not a hardcore gamer, just occasional, I like to play a bit of Battlefield 4 and get my arse whooped.

Budget is around $450. I can be flexible.

Are you okay with having either graphics on medium or FPS in the 30-40 zone? The GPU isn't the best for 1440p anymore

Not really. Might have to stick to 1080.
