where there any brighter the 7.5watts, thats about equal to a 40-50 normal globe , way too dull.
7W is perfect for a small bedroom/study

I bought some of these during the November clearance sale for a similar price. They run super cool. Only downside is the warm white bulbs are much warmer in colour than a 3600k compact fluorescent (more like 4200K despite saying 3000k on box).
3000k is "warmer" than 3600k :)
I know. I was comparing it to an average CFL warm white which is around 3600k. So despite the 3000k rating, the Phillips are comparatively much cooler than a warm CFL!
36 degrees is pretty warm too!

Dicksmith did have a larger range, up to 13W bulbs. Most of which were sold out during the last LED bulb clearance, bulbs priced ~$2-$5.
Most dicksmith don't have lightbulbs because of previous sale.
I just visited my local store and it says 30% off only. How come? :-(
70% off now. Just got the last 4x 7.5W WW BC for $3.60 + 2x 9.5W WW BC for $4.05 @ Blacktown. Plenty of ES left though.
