AliExpress and Visa Load & Go Experiences?

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in buying a few items from Aliexpress (would be my first time using this site) but it seems they don't seem to be taking paypal at the moment. So I was thinking about buying a Visa load& go card and using this as a payment method. The only thing that I am concerned about is if this card will be accepted, I have heard of stories online where this card is not accepted online? Along with a huge amount of negative reviews. So I was wondering has anyone ever used this card and made payment successfully.

Any help on this will be much appreciated thanks,

The card is accepted online, so you can use it like a normal card.

    • Thanks for the reply, would you know if the card would also accept refunds from aliexpress if something happened to an order

Refund from AliExpress, LOL its the way you tell them.
        Seriously.
I did buy a few items from ALiExpress.
One of them was a car stereo, it seemed defective was at the end the converter cable.
I tried handle it directly with the seller (had relative better reputation) and he just ignored me or when he replied repeated irrelevant stuff to get rid of me.
Raised complaint with AliExpress including evidence of non working, and AliEpress basically just sat on it.
The removal of Paypal is not a temporary thing, they pulled out as neither AliExpress not any its its sellers have any intention of providing refunds.
Frequently you sellers opening new stores when the old ones reputation goes low, saw evidence of that.
If you can find the item on eBay for a similar price go for it.
Otherwise given the usually low price its a risk which may or may not be worthwhile.
I would and did buy again but only simple cheap items.

Just be aware that for most credit/debit cards, there is "international transaction surcharge" as payment is not processed in Australia.

    • Thanks for commenting would you also advise registering the card so I can check my balance or can that be done without registering the card.

There is always the option of a credit card like 28 Degrees that does not have any currency conversion fees. I only ever use mine for international purchases and pay it off immediately. I've never had to fees or anything.
