This TV was $1095 just a few days ago so after discount (save 20% (max $1000) off item price) was $895.
But they just raised the original price by $100 making it $995 after discount halfing the original discount.

Posting here because I'm angry, I was going to buy this tv but now I'm thinking of contacting the ACCC.
Am I overreacting? Thoughts? Inputs? Funny stories?
Answer (Yes I was overreacting)

It's been on sale since even before the eBay sale, and some have bought it since the eBay sale started.
Please, be my guest and report it, you obviously are annoyed you missed out on a deal and felt the need to vent on here. Report it to ACCC just purely so I can laugh at the fact you've reported it.
Now, despite what some people seem to not realise, the world doesn't revolve around the eBay sale!
Here you'll see the ad for the tv from 5 days ago
Do you notice the discount shown? I'd bet my hat it's because it's a catalogue sale and guess what, that sale has finished!
And feel free to neg me, in case you haven't noticed it doesn't affect me, my life still goes on, I still post deals and comments. It doesn't detract from me being right though.
Oh, and last I checked, $1095-20% = $876, and $995-20% = $796
