    "Logan" lol…

    • Too quick!

  • Wow cheapest ever! Still want Huawei black though :/

  • These ebay bargains are driving my wallet to oblivion

  • Seems it's the cheapest price from all the LG Urbane posts on ozb

  • Want one.. but got too many already in the same generation (ie. Moto360-1 and Sony SW3). So I'll have to bite my teeth and hang back for the next generation of Smartwatches to come with more capabilities.

  • wonder if Motorola ever releases the Moto 360 Gen2 in Australia as promised.
    Got an LG W100 still.
The contacts are corroding and have trouble charging.
Looking for a watch with wireless charging

    • I'm having that issue too with my previous W100 (yes.. dont ask me why I have so many) - but one of the lessons I learn is to use something like a pin or something hard and fine to scratch the contacts and remove the gunk and corrosion that builds up on it - I do it every quarter or so. Works pretty good after that. Hence why my preference to the Smartwatch is still to have a hidden /covered microUSB (Sony SW3) since you can charge it anywhere and no corrosion.

  • If anyone is one the fence, absolutely love my Urbane. Happy to answer any questions.

    • Hi there,
What's the battery like? Do u have with iPhone? What's app and notifications you can get? Since this will be my first smart watch I just don't want to be disappointed :p

      Thanks

Had mine since September last year.

this is my take on it: Battery "overall" is good. 90% of the time I got home and there's still more than 50% in the tank (I leave at 8am, came back around 7-7.30pm) with the screen always on.

Though there are instances where it drops to 3% or even dead by 3pm. I think it's more connection (bluetooth), if your bluetooth connection or wifi is bad, it'll suck alot of battery.

Also, sometimes the connection to the charging dock is not secured - thus the watch will no charge. If this happens at night, you might wake up in the morning with a dead watch.

Now, that being said, Like Ashanrath, I am still happy with the watch. Got it for a smidge under $300 back then and still think it's on par with the hueawei watch in term of looks.

I've got mine paired with an LG G3, can't comment on iPhone use. As far as battery, it really depends on use and if you have screen always on enabled, using Google Fit etc.

With everything on (wifi, BT, screen always on, Google Fit running pulse checks every hour, checking notifications, controlling music etc) I easily get 36-48 hours on it before getting below 15% battery.

If I turn down the brightness, turn off always on (but keep on BT and wifi) I can squeeze a good 3-4 days battery out of it depending on use. Using the supplied charger it recharges fully in a bit over two hours or so.

  • Temptong on the Asus VivoWatch… states its iOS compatible.
    https://www.asus.com/au/VivoWatch/ASUS_VivoWatch/

However when you click on the link of 'tested phones' there is this FAQ, which states call notifications not SMS:

A new APP HiVivo Plus for iOS

An upgrade version of HiVivo Lite called HiVivo Plus is now available for iOS.
HiVivo Plus has the following additional functons:
    1. Multi-language support
The new APP supports English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish.
If the language setting of the user's device is not one of the above languages, then HiVivo Plus will display in English.
    2. Social networking function
The user can add their friends, and chat with them with this function.
    3. Call Alert
When your iPhone gets a call, ASUS VivoWatch will prompt you.

  • Kogan actually increased the price for ebay. Are they allowed to do that?
    On kogan website: $279 https://www.kogan.com/au/shop/?keywords=w150
    Ebay: $302

    • I think you'll find that on their website it excludes postage but on their eBay listing it includes free postage so thats why There is abit of a difference
