Go on Dell's ebay page and just one of the new skylake laptops.
That elitebook is a bit old.
In answer to your question, HP elitebooks are their best business notebooks. They're built like ironman.
Dell Ebay only stocks Inspiron and XPs lappies though.
The Latitude — which is the crème de la crème of Dell notebooks — is missing from the eBay portal.
XPS is not bad though, they are the 'prosumer' series and have decent reviews.
The elitebooks are HP business grade laptops, so they are built to last & this has good spec apart from the screen res @ 1600 x 900. It might be worth having a look on whirlpool as I am sure lots will be looking at $1000 laptops in the current sale - http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum/130
