        Call Mark Taylor.

  • Wouldn't retailers up their prices by the same cashback amounts?

    • +1

No they dont put up their prices because you redeem the money directly through a company Fujitsu is using to handle the cashbacks. I claimed one last year. If anyone is thinking of doing it, make sure your installer writes the FULL address of the property you are installing in,residential or investment property, otherwise they will not recognise the claim.

      • thanks for the tip - I am always conscious about the fine print.

Added note to all - make sure the model is listed on the eligible cashback list.

        • Also at the time of installation make sure you get the serial numbers on both the unit inside the house and the other half outside the house. You need to enter these on the website to redeem your cashback.
We had a ducted system installed and I didn't fancy crawling around in the roof space looking for the number. Luckily our installer had "been there and done that" and was able to provide me all the necessary details when I rang him up post-installation.
Note also that your cashback comes as a visa gift card which you have to redeem within a year.

      • My question is if the model is normally $900 before the cashback promo. Now retailers know about the cashback say $100, they will up the price too $1000 meaning the cash is back to retailers not consumers.

        • There is no incentive for retailers to put up their prices they only hurt themselves if they do by making themselves more expensive than retailer B.

        • @danceman: no incentive? More profit! It happens all the time during the ebay sale.

  • Any good deals on Fujitsu's at the moment?

I have purchased 2 through good guys they always seem to be reasonable, and I recently installed one in an investment property in Gosford, the best around there was AB Airflo

You can be my landlord anytime :D

  • Panasonic and kelvinator also doing cashbacks . eg kelvinator 2.5kw $598 after csdhback at hardly normal. I'm off to buy 2 :)

  • They have these deals all the time. I used one last year together with a 20% eBay sale. Great saving of over $800 with a bit of cash rewards thrown in.

Last year HN matched the cash back offer, bought 2x2.5kw split system for $549 each, after $150 cash back from Fujistu and $150 from HN both as EFTPOS card. Great aircon with small outdoor unit and energy efficiency.

    • Has anyone received and used the Fujitsu Gift card?
I received mine. But I want to know if i can use the visa card to purchase grocery at the coles or woolworths. Or have i got to use only for purchasing Fujitsu products?

      • yes, you have to use it in a transaction at shops. I had one last year and they dont give you a pin number so you can withdraw from atm.

        • Correction, they do give you a pin number and you need this pin number to withdraw from ATM….I would guess that you would still need to enter the pin for purchases using the card, unless you use paywave to purchase goods/services wait nevermind, I don't think this card can do that because it doesn't say it can do paywave on the card(or at least a picture mentioning it)….though I've never tried, you can try though and find out…

  • Gonna wait for a deal like last time ;)

I want a big 7 or bigger KW system

  • Heads up, Ebay has a 20% off deal at the moment. Got a ASTG09KMCA for $719, then get my $150 VISA from Fujitsu

    • hi, what proof of purchase document did u upload for the claim.

      • +1

reciept from installer with claim form lodged online

  • I bought via click and collect from good guys. But the address on my eBay account is my company's address. The receipt from good guy is my company's address. Do u think fujitsu will accept my claim for the cash back?

    • +1

I dont think they acknowledge installations for companies, from memory it is individuals, so you would be best to ask for a invoice to be rewritten in your home address.
