Pebble Time $149US ($204AU), Pebble Time Round $199US ($272AU) from Pebble Store, Free Postage

100

I was looking for a Pebble Time on Monday, almost bought one from the main site at $199USD but decided to hold off. They've permanently dropped to $149USD ($204 AUD) in the last 36 or so hours. The Round models are $50 cheaper too. No word on price drops on the Pebble Time Steel.

  • If you accept the width of the bezel, its not a bad deal

  • There was an offer sometime ago from DSE for Time steel for around $205. the best i can see is from Amazon- http://www.amazon.com/Pebble-Steel-Smartwatch-Android-Device… for US $199.

If you have someone in Adelaide, ask them to buy from DSE and post it. Or keep an eye on Gumtree and grab one from there.

  • pretty sure this is the best price currently. going to wait until their next 30% off sale (wishful thinking…)

  • No word on price drops on the Pebble Time Steel.

    :(

Apparently Dick Smith was the exclusive distributor in Australia for Pebble?

Anyone know if another store (JB or Good Guys etc) has taken over?

You get a further 10% off if you subscribe to their emails (pop up).

So $179 USD for the Pebble Round, $135 for the Pebble time.

    • so here's the real deal !

    • And put the USD15.00 towards offsetting the extra USD25.00 to reduce the few weeks delivery to 3-5 days Fedex. One Pebble Time coming to me USD159.99 (AUD228.40) next week.

BTW, DSE have the hide to be selling the older Pebble Steel at a "Hot Price" of AUD231 … http://www.dicksmith.com.au/activity-trackers/pebble-steel-s…

  • Pebble also have a new Kickstarter offer going around at the moment to do with their new (3rd party) NFC band which (eventually in Australia) allows for wireless payments.

The new straps also include an inbuilt USB plug, which means you don't need a separate cable to charge the watch.

The only negative I can see at the moment is that the new band adds 3mm to the thickness of the watch as a whole, which makes it even bulkier.

link here for those who are interested

  • It's a very nice watch. Better than the Pebble which I had before.
It's been on sale a few times for $149 USD iirc. So now that it's 'permanently' $149 perhaps when it's on sale it'll be $129 USD?
There's a lot more competition in this space compared to one or two years ago but Pebble has it's market share.

Have a look at the instructions I posted on choicecheapies to get another $50 off pebble time. This works fine world wide. https://www.cheapies.nz/node/5737

    • Anyone have this and tried with pebble time round. If they give further discount better than 10% from subscriber, i will pull the trigger. Been eyeing for a while to try this watch.

      Thanks

      • Dosent work with the round, also dosent work with 10 percent off.

    • Is there an Android equivalent, or is that iOS only?

      • There isnt an android version

    • Can anyone please confirm for me that the Smartwatch Pro USD 50 discount is currently working on the new Pebble Time price of USD 149? It seems to me that USD 99 plus an additional AUD 7 (total ~AUD 140) for a Pebble Time is a really great deal (even if you intend not to use the app for anything else). So good in fact that I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more comments here, and I can't seem to find much else about it online either. So I'd appreciate it if someone can confirm for me before I blow $7 on the app. Thanks a lot!
