    ads? What does that mean? Can you please put a reason so we can understand what you don't like about the deal. You go to the site and you find a list of the prices and then you can book. So they dont tell you what the prices are or the days they are available, then you wont consider this as ads? - or is it something else?

    Voting negative tells us there is something wrong here. So play the game and tell us so we understand. If we can't understand why, then we will revoke any negative deal. Help the community with a clear explanation, then others can benefit from any insight you are trying to give us.

  This is definitely not a "STUPENDOUS SALE", and the fares are NOT "EXCLUSIVE to Flight Planet customers" as I can see the same fares on multiple travel sites.

  Add to that a horrible booking interface, errors when you actually try and book a flight on Emirates (* E200 Error message returned from the Host: Error response received. The error was: FORMAT CHECK SEGMENT NUMBER")

  ozpete - Please get off your high horse. If you can't see this as what is it (blatant advertising for a deal that isn't worth anyones time) then I think you need to give up your "MOD" flag.

    The new rules on ozbargain does state that there must be full justification of negative votes.
    Therefore, you can no longer justify negative votes with:
    "Not a bargain"
    "yeah"
    "+1"
    "ads?"
    You do have to state explicitly why this isn't a deal.
    That's what ozpete was trying to say.

    Froberts - your comments about this deal make sense. I dont investigate every deal. I do mod the site to see that people follow the guidelines, which are to inform people of what a deal is. So just putting "ads" as I said before doesn't tell us anything. And why should everyone have to go to the site to find out. So in effect yeohkt actually encourages people to go there to find out what the hell they are on about.

    This is a community and wisdom about deals are shared. Your explanation is sharing and helpful, whereas yeohkt's isn't.

    As for high horse….

    1. I didn't can the negative vote which I could do. Under our guidelines written with agreement from ALL mods.
    2. In fairness to yeohkt,and to help the community from their knowledge, I have given them time to give some more insight to help others here.
    3. I haven't revoked any negative votes for some length of time, except two this week. AND those were made with AGREEMENT from the posters because the OP changed details that they were concerned with.
    4. We have a REPORT function to alert mods to SPAM etc so the negative vote isn't as necessary as before. And we are seeing more use of this, which is helping clear spam/scam off the site faster.
    5. Informative negative votes are not removed. And now we are seeing better information because of our past blitzes on this.
    6. A year ago negative votes were required to have a comment as nobody knew why deal was getting a negative vote, then some smarties/lazy just put in a comma, period or space. So we introduced the new conditions as bsmksg points out.

    Thats not to say we still don't get inane comments like "don't like the color", but these are still left, because we don't delete the opinion, unless it's abusive or offensive . We just want the reasons clear.

    So would you like to explain how this constitutes a high horse??

    Hi froberts2,

    I have no idea where else you would have found these prices as these were exclusive and were next to nett prices. As for no dates mentioned that was because our newsletter clearly stated "ALL fares, ALL dates" in bold red text.

    We never advertise things that are not 'worth anyone's time' as that would be quite simply a waste of our own time and money.

    We do apologise for the problems you had with the booking engine. Many other customers found the sale to as sated and hence the booking engine was put under extreme pressure. We will endeavour to make sure this does not happen again.
