Or, y'know, people may want a cat but are waiting for a deal like this.
reow!
If the cat ends up dead then this may be useful http://www.amazon.com/101-Uses-Dead-Simon-Bond/dp/0517545160
Fantastic news!
Please, adopt a cat if you can…I wish I had the space to have a couple of cats & dogs, but alas, space says one is all I can get.
I've always adopted adult pets & have never regretted it.
:)
Temperament is what limits me. My overly precocious adult rescue cat doesn't play nice with other kitty cats, so one it is. Probably the only thing that's stopping me from being a crazy cat lady with 10+ is respect for my current feline.
I hear ya! Except I know that it's the close-proximity that causes most of the ire. It bothers me how we've taken these beautiful creatures (cats & dogs) & basically have created a world to suit "us" which steals their natural environment (open-outdoors) & trades it for an unnatural indoor one…I wish I lived on some property in a small, timber flat! I'd have at least 3 of each.
Too much hair.
shaved pussy?
Free long cats this weekend.

EDIT: Meant no offence. Looks like a good service!
Ill take 10!
(do you deliver to crazy exes)?
Pretty disgusted by the comments in this post. These people are trying to do a good thing.
As for my own comment, my circumstances don't allow for a cat at the moment but I'm looking to change that in a couple months!
Aww no NSW.
Shout out to my former foster cat… she is delightful and friendly. Hoping she gets a loving new home this weekend: http://www.cathaven.com.au/adopt/cats/119785/
Why own a cat that you couldn't keep?
She said foster cat! So she was looking after the cat before a suitable family can be found to adopt it! The cat could have had recent surgery or illness that prevented it from being kept onsite in a cage.
you've demonstrated your ignorance quite enough in this thread. you gotta know when to quit
Seems to me you are demonstrating your ignorance right now.
Pot calling the kettle black@Roary: lol, stepped on your tail, did I?
Great deal.
Now can anyone reccomend a deal for Blackbean sauce?Seriously though, all the cats in my life have been rescued from shelters and its totally worth it.
Was that Cat Heaven Your Holiness?
cats are stupid animals, do nothing but eat and sleep.
get a dog. at least dogs have brains and are loyal and smart.
get a dog. at least dogs have brains and are loyal and smart
Who cares about that? They absolutely STINK.
What a cat-astrophe if these cats dont get adopted!
Im sure they will find a home in Chinatown
So many stupid comments. Sigh. If you've got nothing to contribute, stfu.
I hope a lot of these cats get forever homes this weekend. I for one adore my adopted cat. He's such a beautiful man and I can't imagine life without him.
Single with Daddy issues. Love it.
Huh?
Sorry, for a moment there I thought you were referring to a cat and calling it a beautiful man. If that was the case, then I (being a beautiful man) would have to be a cat. Or, alternatively, you are single and have not had a (real) beautiful man or a good father figure in your life. This would have helped you ascertain more clearly the fundamental characteristics of a beautiful man. I am here to help.
@Risto: narcissist and wannabe pop psychologist…. What an irresistible package
@tdw: A beautiful package.
Actually dipshit, I myself am a beautiful man with a beautiful wife, 2 beautiful children and 2 beautiful adopted pets.
You are a (profanity).
Edit - wnaker is a banned word :-(
@IHateFrasierCrane: it's OK mate. We all have a feminine side. Some of us can even distinguish between animals and humans.Frasier had a dog didn't he?
@Risto: it's laughable that you (or any other of these overcompensating "men" in this thread) think liking cats makes a man any less masculine. quite the contrary.
further, women aren't attracted to insecure little boys who get off on making thinly veiled homophobic and sexist remarks.
@tdw: ease up champion, I've never seen a cat described as a "beautiful man" before. It's weird. I'd have support from numerous Ozbargainers, but many really couldn't care less about cats. Same here. I just came for the laughs, and I got them.
@Risto: If you understood how adult cats rule the house, you'd appreciate that saying "beautiful boy" (instead of "beautiful man") isn't appropriate for grown cats. Child endearments are really a kitten or a whole lifetime of dogs thing.
@Risto: yeah we get it. you're all about the lulz and no shits given about actual animal welfare. back to the sand pit for you.
@tdw: I care about animals, I just don't dress them in tuxedos.
Adopt a cat is not liked buying eneloop, my fellow ozbargainer please love it if you adopt it, don't put inside the drawer get dusty.
You're right. I've tried recharging my cats, they really don't like it.
Or let the kids throw it out thinking it isn't a special one.
I thought this was about adopting cool jazz musicians. Thank goodness it isn't. They're so temperamental.
Doesnt cats just run away after a while?
Doesnt cats just run away after a while?
Not if you are nice to them. Just the same as humans.
… We are bursting at the seams…
So not enough room to swing a …. No, probably not appropriate
