I'm wanting to get a new laptop and have seen some of the crazy E series lenovo deals going around. Was wondering if these types of deals ever make it to the top-line T series laptops or if they tend to stay in the midrange?
Cheers

This. Latitudes are awesome, but you'd be mad to pay anywhere near RRP for one. Even the refurb ones on Dell outlet come with 1 year warranty too.
Avoid the 5000 series however, they're not much better than the consumer models
I wish there were Lenovo T/X deals around…
There are occasionally. I got my T430 with a massive 30% discount in 2013
Lenovo has certainly changed their strategy. A few years ago they have 30% off >$2200 spent on ThinkPad every month. These days it's getting rare.
That sucks. My laptop is near its end of life upgrade cycle :(
I'll have to see if I can source a Dell Latitude from my old man's workplace as a salary sacrifice option.
Get the same laptop as your workplace and make friends with the IT guy. Reason I say this is I broke the screen on my own personal device. Showed the IT guy, he laughed and said you're in luck. Fixed it for me.
There's a Dell outlet, but I wonder… where's the Lenovo Outlet? Googling takes me to the US locale but there doesn't appear to be an AU Lenovo outlet site.
It's supposed to be here, and once upon the time we did have a Lenovo Outlet deal. However at the moment it appears the outlet is empty.
I myself am gagging for a T460s with discrete GPU. I'm still waiting for the search alert email ;)
For Latitudes — if you are buying for yourself, check out the Dell Outlet. Sometimes there are some good deals.
