  • digital version gives you a free copy for PC though….ahhh decisions.

    • Yeah it's a hard choice. But given the absolutely trash performance of games on Windows 10 app with Rise of the Tomb Raider and Gears of Wars Ultimate Edition, I'm bloody sceptical about it.

    • +1

Also I wouldn't assume that the PC copy can be sold on eBay etc.
Right now nobody (except Microsoft) knows how the "cross-buy" will work between Xbox and PC. Both versions might be tied to your Microsoft Account (similar to how Steam does it).

      • Na cross buy never give you second code. It activates in your account and stays that way.

        • As "bengal tiger" has posted, the cross-buy promotion includes a second code for the PC version.

        • @guidedlight:

ill buy it off anyone who doesnt use PC

        • @furythree:

I use a Mac (which is why I game on an Xbox). My preorder has been placed, feel free to reach out to me… if you want my copy (and it has been confirmed that it isn't linked to a single Microsoft account)

        • @guidedlight: out of curiosity, how much did you pay for both copies and how much are you looking to sell the pc copy for?

        • @ChillBro: I think it's $99 for the Quantum Break pre-order… which includes the PC copy. I haven't received the code yet though.
I haven't put any thought into the sale price. I guess I'll just put it onto eBay unless I get an offer.

To be honest, I can't see Microsoft being stupid enough to allow people to resell their bonus copy, but we'll see.

      • Official website states they'll message you over Xbox Live with a 5x5 redemption code for the PC version so it doesn't look to be tied to your account - http://www.quantumbreak.com/windows10/

Still, I'd hold off on posting any sales on eBay until receiving the code as we haven't seen any precedents yet to confirm this is standard practice for cross-buys.

    • I'm in the same boat, digital pre-order will cost $25+ more than a physical copy from Mighty Ape. Not interested in the t-shirt or steelbook case, but today's news of 4k gameplay and cut-scenes on PC are tempting…

  • just noticed this is also a digital copy

    • Huh? It is physical that includes digital copy of Alan Wake

    • Physical of QB. Digital of all Alan Wake content :)

  • whats the steel book? walkthrough guide or game art only?

    • +1

Steelbook is just the case made of steel for collectables.

      • +1

Pre-ordered at EB for the steelbook bonus… for $100. As soon as I saw this, I quickly cancelled. This looks like an amazing steelbook!

        • Yip, cannot believe how expensive EB games are. Honestly can't understand why people pay $20-$30 more than elsewhere for most games.

        • @jords11:

They get the majority of collector edition releases. Sort of forces us to buy from them.

  • Any idea for size of poster or shirt?

  • I swear I must be the only person in the world who didn't like Alan Wake.

  • No sizing for the shirt, is it safe to assume they come in Large size?

    • "Promo t-shirts are usually supplied in a mix of Medium, Large and XL". You can contact them after the order and they will make note of your preference.

      • I wanted a small one, will have to check with them
