I wanna get a rough price range of going to Europe from Sydney over the Christmas period (2nd half of dec). I saw tickets from Sydney -> Amsterdam -> London -> Sydney for around 1.8k. The had layover in Shanghai & Germany (otw there) and Germany & Singapore (otw back). Don't really mind the 37hour from point A to B. But you guys reckon that's a good price?
Have a look at byoflight, you can use cashback rewards and you can order flights by duration. It was cheaper than the airlines sites when I booked.
Depends which part of EU you want to go to and the dates.
Paris tends to be cheaper to land, expensive to stay of course.
Quick search on Sydney <-> Paris on 3rd week of Dec and Returning on 2nd week of Jan, $1580 on Qatar.
compare it with a single destination return trip and booking your own internal flights id say you'll get it cheaper that way .. just depends on the effort vs savings
