There is a current deal on as posted here that offers 3 shirts for $99 as long as you visit the site via: http://www.ctshirts.com/fbau99 (this is nothing new it's just the URL changes so they can track their marketing spend). I am creating this new post to summarise all the other deals going on.
As mentioned in the above post, there is a $15 off $75 code that still works - 15AD - which is currently better than the free shipping promo…
The free shipping promo was mentioned later in the same thread which would be good for someone not wanting to spend over $75. Note that 15AD will not work if you want free shipping.
Now, CTShirts used to have URLs you could easily manipulate to get sweet deals but now they only work on what URL you clicked to get to the main page. You can see this by visiting from /fbau99 /harley or via CashRewards (8%). Each of those URLs will give you a different homepage and different options when checking out (some codes will not work); again all to track marketing spends. They also used to have .au for Australia but obviously want dem rankings for the .com site.
To test what code works best for you, you can register an account, add everything to your cart and then enter the site via the many URL combinations that are usually floating around. Each time you close the tab and reenter the site with a new URL, your cart value will change. Combine this with some codes you can hunt down and you will be getting the best deal.
For the record, whilst I am a huge fan of CTShirts (my entire work wardrobe is from them including shoes and pants) they are completely full of sh*t when it comes to pricing; as previously covered here. Basically you should never pay more than $35-$40 for shirts and never pay for shipping.
If you are new to CTShirts, take advantage of their great return policy and buy a few shirts of varying sizes and then send back the ones that don't fit. It's the best way to find what fits you. Also keep in mind the types of cotton used is huge. There are shirts I have that I cannot wear in summer as they are far too thick and vice versa for winter as they are so light and thin. I have not figured out how to determine this, you will have to experiment and take notes on the weave and shirt type (fwiw, even some of the non-irons I have are very thick).
(If this belongs in the forums, no dramas)
Great write up! All my shirts are from CT. Can you give us a review on the shoes and suits?
