  • pretty much a standard offering nowadays, across all tyre retailers.
(bought 4 using similar deal back in Dec).

    • I need two tyres. Anyone want to go halves?

      • +2

probably better looking at tempe or st george tyres, for starters, then go from there. Can also get KTAS to price match.

      • +1

Only if you let me have the free one.. :P

      Dupe of what?

There's nothing showing in search: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/search/node/Bob+Jane?s=t&t=b

      • Dupe of: www.ozbargain.com.au/node/236688
(the special is not just Bob Jane, but includes other places such as Tyres & More)

Errr, nope. That deal SPECIFICALLY excludes other places…

Available at participating Bridgestone Select, Bridgestone Service Centre and Bridgestone Tyre Centre stores.

Subsidiary companies, retailers and agencies of Bridgestone Australia Ltd., are ineligible for “Get the 4th Tyre FREE” offer.

(the special is not just Bob Jane, but includes other places such as Tyres & More)

          What special?

This deal is only from Bob Jane.

The other deal is only for Bridgestone's own outlets.

Neither of the deals apply at Tyres & More (nor at Officeworks, Kmart Tyre and Auto, Repco, etc).

  • Blueearths v ecopias. Any comments?

    • I just bought BluEarth's due to this deal (thanks OP!), after finding that they are better reviewed on ProductReview and TyreReviews UK
Looks like better economy (8-10% fuel savings) and grip than the Ecopia's.
Bob Jane tried to sway me towards the Bridgestone Ecopia's, but the reviews seem quite clear. Apparently the BluEarth's use Orange Oil, or something. I had them fitted yesterday and they seem fine (though I'm in no position give meaningful feedback on tyre quality, which is why I rely on reviews by others).

  • Have a look at www.tyretrader.com.au - generally much cheaper than anywhere else I've looked.
