This is mainly for anyone outside of NSW, as it can be found cheaper there. But if you are a QLD sucker like me, and just bought this several hours ago for $1689 (Harvey Norman, Good Guys & Masters are this price), I'm terribly sorry, I know how you feel. To make up for the money I lost, I cried for 16 hours straight and filled up my saltwater pool, so it's not all bad.
Anyway, this is quite a nice fridge/freezer with a very handy front access panel for keeping your most-used items - milk, water, pork ribs etc.

  Lol. I have this fridge. Got it from TGG during the ebay 20% sale last year. I think $1699 is the normal list price. I am curious, why didn't you ask for a better price at TGG/HN? Usually, they would shave maybe 5-10% off by just asking.

  The front access panel was the selling point for me too. :)

  I bought this fridge 12 months ago for $1600 delivered and it's a decent fridge. Makes lots of strange noises that can be quite loud at night.

    yep..I bought this from Costco Docklands last year for around $1200
