900g Karicare+ Toddler Growing up Milk Stage 3 & 4 $14.00 @Coles & Formula 1 + 2 $20 @Woolworths

30

Saw it on sale at World Square Coles (Sydney). Checked online and it looks like it is also on sale online.

At World Square, the "baby milk aisle" is cleared out but if you keep walking to the "end" of the section, you will see a whole lot of them there at the end aisle.

Maybe more for the "Daigou" of Ozbargain.

Don't forget to swipe your flybuys/rewards card.

Specials at Woolworths $14-$20

Assuming these baby formula are for over 1 year olds (stage wise), most of the doctors recommend to switch to the full cream milk (unless they don't have any nutritional/dietary requirements). More of a marketing gimmick in my opinion.

    • Wish someone would tell the Chinese.
Instant milk powder is a whole lot cheaper if your locally available milk lack minerals.

      • Yep, friend sends milk powder to his family in China. When he purchases heaps of it, no one bats an eyelid

Ahh Stage 3 and Stage 4 Formula - the marketing hype that isn't actually needed.

Whilst it is on special, regular full fat milk with a balanced diet is all a toddler requires!

I'll leave it at that - any Ozbargainer would know there is no need to spend money on these.

    • I agree with you whole heartedly. Just marketing hype. There is no reason why they couldn't switch production from producing this crap to more formula for those under the age of 1! The main reason is that they just want to market their product to a wider audience.

Their cost of production is probably the same for this as it is for baby formula. The other thing is that there is no restriction on marketing of this to people, as in having promotions etc. Where as for forumla for under 1's they are not allowed to have samples and promotions.

One small epilogue, my mate's kid refuses to drink milk, and will only drink formula, so he has to buy this stuff!

      • They don't have and safe fresh milk in china
