I'm ordering a Kogan sim for my wife after her 90 days on Amaysim 5GB ($3.33/month) expires today.
She'll be without a phone for 2-3 days while waiting for this to arrive. She's doing a lot of driving in the next few days and wants phone access in case she breaks down etc.
So what is the best short term solution to this problem? I know Optus used to offer daily plans in ye-old days, unsure if that's still the case or if there is something else available I'm unaware of.
Basic access for $1-2/day would be great, any suggestions appreciated.
Looks like I've answered my own question - Optus appears have a $2/day 4G plan. Didn't find it on their website but did stumble upon a PDF which is seems current.
My only other question remains, should I try to port her off Optus before doing this? Seeing as she's currently on Amaysim (Optus network) which would be the fastest option?
