I am after a firm queen size mattress (base not required). They seem to vary quite a bit in price — from a few hundred to several thousand dollars.
I noticed that Myer are currently having a 30-45% off mattress sale — however I have been sceptical about Myer sale prices. A few years ago I was sucked in to their 30% off Scanpan sale and later found that quite a few other stores have cheaper everyday prices.
So are there any cheap stores around North/West Sydney that sell mattresses? Or should I consider Myer?
Don't think of it as Myer - think about the mattress you want to buy and what is inside it… That is what you are wanting to buy. Yes there are Queen size mattresses for $300 up to $7000 (and beyond)… The key is to find out what is inside the mattress and your likes.. Fortunately for you, you are after a firm mattress, usually the price of a mattress depends on how much material is in it, and for a firm mattress, there isn't much :) so the price should not be too bad to handle…
I guess first of all, determine a budget of how much you want to spend and then work in that market -
A side not, to get a nice quality mattress you need to be paying about the $700 mark upwards. That is a sale price so retail around the $1000 mark.
Hope that helps. If you have any questions regards to any mattress at Forty winks, feel free to ask :)
I am your inside man :) So can help you when it comes to price. Don't want them to be ripping you off!!
