Has anyone been to Costco recently and taken note of what phones they're selling outright (not the ones sold through the Vodafone mini-store)? How do their prices stack up against mobile its and others selling Au stock?

i was wondering that too. costco have cards like the one on the bottom of the image http://cdn.iphoneincanada.ca/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/ipad… for apple products, but not for iphone.

Those cards are to pay for an item then pickup out the back after checkout. It's reserved for expensive non-jewellery items. Not sure if they have a name. Product card, perhaps?
They do sell iPhones of own for sure, seen in Ringwood Costco.
Vodafone booth inside sells as well
I went out to my closest costco on the weekend. Unfortunately they've stopped selling Android phones. They have a few Apple products, but now it looks like all of their non Apple phones are sold through the Vodafone stall, which offers the same process as everyone else. A few phones included a free extra charging cable worth about $2 off eBay. I left disappointed.
Does Costco warranty cover Iphones for the life of the membership?
Should, yes, but will NOT cover the Vodafone store sold phones (as others have found out!). :(

I rang Costco Dockland wanting to talk to their mobile phone section. I was given the "direct number" for the Kios 9642 0229.
I made enquiries about the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I was told that the outright phones will not have Vodaphone branding/bloatware, and that the waranty will be two years.
I asked if the waranty period is consistent with Costco waranty policy, the guy told me that he does not know, and that the mobile phone kios is operated separately from Costco.
Anyway, the $1199.99 price tag for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is still cheaper than
$1238 at The Good Guys and $1248 or $1249 at other retailersThe Canberra Costco has some Oppo phones. Definitely had the R7s for $499 and maybe the F1 as well.
Price for the R7s is standard RRP as far as I can tell.
I could be wrong (as always) but don't they only sell outright phones through the Vodafone booth inside the warehouse? I don't think I have seen any phones sold in the tech area since Vodafone partnered with them.
