  grabbed disgaea 5 this morning, it's the 'launch' edition… but i think that's the only one you can get anyway.

  reversible cover and sound track are nice, the 'art book' though is more like a pamphlet at 32 pages… come on!

    It is the "launch edition".

    Haven't played Disgaea game on a TV console since Disgaea 2! I've always found that playing Disgaea series is better on a portable console (PSP/PSV) than on TV (for me anyways).

      i wouldn't really have minded waiting for it to come out on vita with all the dlc but unfortunately they're repeatedly said that they can't/won't port it, so at this point it's too uncertain.

      as a fan i don't mind collecting it anyway (even with the disappointing art book).

        Whaaat? No Disgaea 5 on a portable console! Blasphemy!

        Considering that PS Vita console/game sales numbers aren't the best outside of Japan I can understand why it won't get ported.

        That and Sony seem to be killing off the PS Vita (allegedly).

        their reason was that the vita simply couldn't handle it so if the vita gets a successor we might see it on there.

        who knows though… i'm looking forward to d2 on vita, i have it for ps3 but pokemon came out at the same time and i stopped and never went back, and my friend already took back his ps3!

        Managed to get Disgaea 5 (PS4), Persona Dancing All Night (PSV) and Rodea (Wii/Wii U) this morning. Finally got around to using the gift vouchers I received from Christmas.

        EDIT: I am hoping that D2 gets a PSV release as well.

    Yes.

    It is considered a "collectible" because the Rodea Wii version is the last Wii game to be made for the system.
