LG G Flex 2 from US Seller Ebay ~$315 AUD

I am looking for a new smartphone around 300AUD, I keep my eyes on LG G FLEX 2 which has very good value for the price I think. I found a US seller that sell this phone for 199$US, which is around 315$AU delivered to Australia. I am wondering whether any ozbargainers have had any experience with buying phone from US specifically from Ebay. Is the any tax that need to be paid upon item arrival?

Any opinion for a good smartphone below 400AUD will also be appreciated.(I prefer big screen. 5.5' - 6' is preferable)

    No tax unless total cost if over $1000AUD

    I would not buy from this seller after reading the negative feedbacks. If he would be a local seller I might still purchase from him but as he is based in US nope.

    You lose out big if there is an issue with your purchase.
