    On the dirty dog website it says the following

    The lenses contain 4 UV filters for optimum UV blockage.

    Not sure what rating that is equal to though

  Also I would recommend the the grey-tinted lens, as the brown-tinted may alter colours like traffic lights, (which can affect the colour blind).

  40aud looks pretty common price for this kind of moulded sunnies,
  CARVE polarized are normally between 39 and 49 depending on how new is the model style.
  this said, always like a TR90 with polarised lens, less flexble than acetate but much lighter, suggest to go for thicker frames since they are less prone to crack in the long term.

  I had a pair of polarised sunnies once. I kept seeing rainbows that weren't there.

  Still, at $40, its cheaper than getting high.
