Perfect for Linux ISO's, and my all time favourite movie "Big Buck Bunny"

  • look at Alldebrid as well ,i use them, and they work perfectly, reasonably priced as well

  • +1

So do they log what you download/upload from your cloud storage space?

  • I wonder what server this is? Is it from Australia? This sounds like a seedbox.

What speeds am I expected when I download directly from the server?

If it is fast then I might reconsider since I am currently using FeralHosting right now…

  • Is there SFTP?

  • +1

can i download as many files as I want, or is it only 100gb, or is my download unlimited, and the online storage is 100gb?

    • +1

      100 GB of cloud storage
      Traffic: unlimited = Unlimited Download

  • +1

    cloud torrent = seedbox

    what a crappy "bargain"
whats even better is there is no mention where the servers are located, what speeds down, what speeds up, its almost like its aimed at absolutely brain dead people

i'm surprised its even allowed on this site given its clear purposes.

save your money and buy a 5 euro a month KimSufi box which is 100mbit unlimited dedicated server if you really need something like this.

    • Care to share where I can get Kimsufi for 5 Euros?

      • +1

try the kimsufi website for a start

        • I have been looking for a couple of months now, its out of stock.

        • +1

          @praga:
The KS-1 is fairly hard to get (virtually impossible unless you're using watch/notify tools) as there's high demand for them.

The Online.net alternative (6 EUR/mo) is more available, though currently out of stock (check around the start of each month because that's when cancellations occur). Also has double the setup fee than the Kimsufis.

If you don't need oodles of space, the Scaleway servers could be quite workable, and are usually in stock: https://www.scaleway.com/pricing/

Having said all this, these are all just barebones servers that you need to set up yourself to be of any use. If you're not comfortable with administering a Linux server via command line, there are 'seedbox setup scripts', of varying levels of quality, but regardless, this is still a fair bit more effort than using a preconfigured seedbox. I personally only recommend going the barebones server route if you're at least somewhat comfortable with the Linux command line (or at least willing to learn it) and have a reasonable amount of IT knowledge.

        • @Yumi: Thanks for the suggestions Ill have a look at the ones you suggested, I had a Kimsufi (Old one dual core) long time ago but cancelled it. I am an IT guy by profession and have fair knowledge of all these server configuration stuff. I still prefer the Kimsufi KS-1 because after claiming vat you only pay about 3.50 Euros.

        • @praga: Nitpick:
5 EUR is without VAT (it's 6 EUR with VAT). (even if it was the other way round, 5/1.2=4.17, not 3.5)

        • @Yumi: Yes you are correct

    • You can try it for free and see if it works for you. And Bitport is running on https so there is that.

I use https://justseed.it which is hard to beat for 1 Euro a month. The dev actively adds features (literally within hours of requesting them) when requested. This is how I ended up getting support for Sonarr on his site.

It costs me less than what it was costing me in elctricity to run my low power (60W) HTPC to seed torrents!

    • +2

Which service is 1 Euro? Cheapest I can find via your link is 1TB/30d/EUR€1.99

      EDIT: Found it 4Tb/120d/EUR€3.99

    • Was looking at the utilities and noted that there's an automatic download utility. What does this download over? I understand that HTTPS/SFTP would be the "safest" way to go?

      • +1

From memory it can do either http or https with an option to choose which in the utilities config. I use the piece downloader utility which can download the torrent pieces as they arrive on the server rather than waiting for the torrent to finish and it always uses SSL.

  • is it good? why not using VPN? then you have no limitation on space, quota etc…

  • I think premiumize.me might be better. especially when paired with kodi.
