Hi all
I have been thinking about switching my super for an ethical investment?
I am not interested to invest in tobacco, gambling etc.
Do you have any experience or advice?

Here's an example: https://m.unisuper.com.au/investments/responsible-investing/…
You have to read the details of what they invest in. One super's balanced option might actually be more sustainable/ethical than another super's ethical option.
Ethical investment funds are a pretty mainstream investment class these days. There is no reason to avoid them if you feel they are worthwhile. Be aware, however, that some invest in things that some investors might object to. For example, genetically modified crop technologies, or retailers with questionable supply chains.
Like any investment, it is a good idea to research what their guidelines/policies are.
I don't know if the name puts you off or not, but I use Christian Super. They are very easy to deal with.

They are one of the first super funds to do the whole ethical investment thing and they claim to have won:
Gold SuperRatings 2014, 2013, 2012 & 2011
Gold Pension SuperRatings 2014, 2013
Infinity Award 2013 & 2010
Money Magazine 'Best Green Super Fund' Award 2014, 2011
Sustainable Fund of the Year 2011 & 2008

one of the better managed funds out there for ethical investment.
Why don't you invest in the fund that promises the most return? Just because you invest in ethical stuff doesn't mean non-ethical stuff will cease to exist. May as well take the best of both worlds; invest in whatever makes you the most money, and you use that money to do ethical things.
That's roughly what I was going to say but couldn't spit it out.
I'm curious to know what you mean buy ethical investment!
