Best Way to Convert Currency for Travel. Prepaid Card or Cash Exchange?

Heading overseas soon to Korea.

Needing assistance as to the best way to convert/carry currency?

Have been suggested CITIBANK PLUS DEBIT CARD…

AFAIK,

No withdrawal fees as long as ATMS are Citibank approved..("some owners may charge a fee in the country)
Free transactions
Free International money transfers

The card holds value in AUD and before you travel, you just let a rep know that your travelling and they will change the value to the country of travel…

The rate is also not locked in and fluctuates with Visa's Exchange Rate whereas if you hold cash, you've bought at a specified rate BUT ofc, you may get charged a fee by currency exchange booths etc..

Any other better ways would be much appreciated.
