That spaghetti is so disgusting I had to force myself to eat it but still couldn't and had to throw it away.

    • I have no idea whatsoever why you were down voted.

No sign of this sale at my local Woolies however the individual tins are 1/2 price, $1.04.

  • I feel something sloppy coming on

damn and i thought the half price and 2 for $3 deals were good!

  • Cheaper than Costco… Seems like it's a job lot from the supplier and specific to the store!

  • Gungahlin ACT had them for $4.50 last week - I would've posted here but they only had about six trays on the display, so didn't feel it was sufficient quantity.

As far as I can tell, it was a non standard line that was a one-off allocation to stores. This would be a clearance price and it will vary between those stores that still have stock.

    • Last time clearance price was $6.

The only bit they forgot to add was "full of sugar" at 18.4 grams per can, equivalent to nearly 5 teaspoons, or about half of the recommended daily added sugar amount. Granted probably only half of that is added sugar, but that's still 1/4 of the recommended allowance in a day.

No wonder they taste so damn delicious.

I just got reminded of this after this post about Coke: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/235795

It's kinda crazy how much sugar companies add to foods and how many foods on the supermarket shelf have it added.

Edit: Whoops! Left my tin foil hat here. A' tout a' l'heure!
