I've found it depends from store to store. some of them do their stickers late at night, others do it in the morning, others do it mid morning after the 9am rush.
"Sticker man" kept me well fed.
my office has stupidly cold airconditioning. - middle of QLD summer and people are wearing jumpers. yes - maintenance has been in to the office many times and they say everything is fine.
the coles near my office (the barracks) was clearing out 2000watt ceramic heaters for $3 each. bought 5 for some of my coworkers.
I'd be willing to bet that the thermostat in your office that regulates the temperature, is located near a heat source like a running hot PC.
or peoples personal heaters
you my friend are a LEGEND
ANYBODY ELSE????
i go every arvo after work, whats marked down is my dinner.
get half priced roasts, fish, pies, chickens, salads.
even stuff with a day left, can be frozen
Sundays 2pm ish 80% off microwave meals.
Colesworths and IGA all pretty much do the exact same thing, with three rounds of discounts/markdowns each day & a discount that usually ends up reducing the third discount to about 80% off.
I chat to the veg & meat department shelf stackers to find out the time of day it happens. For the local places near me, IGA always does the 60-80%off markdowns just before 8am each morning. Coles do it in the final hour of opening and Woolies do it after closing so that the 60-80%off discounts are put out in the discount meat/veg sections by the time the store opens the next morning.
As a general rule of thumb, I try to keep my monthly spending on meat to about $20, which is still enough meat after heavy discounts to have me eating it 4 days a week at the very minimum. I always keep an eye out especially for big discounts on meat that's already on sale 30-50% off in the catalogue. I've walked out of Woolies a couple of times now with 2 months worth of meat for the freezer, for under $30.
What meat do you buy? lol sausages?
Chicken breast, thigh, legs, mince, various beef portions and pork. Seafood too when it's 80% off, I find Salmon for $6 p/kg is hard to turn down.
60-80%??? The most I have seen is 10%!! That's fantastic!
5 gum. I live off the stuff and bought a few packets for 50c rather than $4 each.
Depends. Festival stuff, after the festival of course. Roast chooks, in the evening, if they have any left.
