Looking for some cheap cycling shoes that'll take an SPD cleat, but look normal enough for me to walk around a pub in for a few hours (and won't make me sound like a tapdancer).
Any suggestions? Most of what I've seen look like the kind of thing middle-aged couples wear when they go hiking.
Only shoes that spring to mind would be 5Tens. Plenty of places have let me & mates in wearing them, they wear comfortably, & depending on what model you go for, look like a fairly stock standard casual shoe. To be fair though, I haven't ridden clipless since I started using Bennies, but I can't say I've noticed anybody tapping or sliding around when walking who do.
