Hmm.. the photo in your link shows a smart case. But it seems to have abit of a disconnect with the description which says it "protects your iPad Air screen without covering up its aluminium back".
I bought the pink smart cover for my mum. The photos for that ad show the smartcover.

@9race: I suspect they've done a bad copy and paste on the description and pics. I imagine those in the $20's are smart covers and those in the $40's smart cases. The link there is to a "Smart Cover Case", so I assume that's a Smart Cover not Smart Case.
I got an iPad Air Smart Case in Red leather a few weeks ago and it was about $44

I had always thought the official Apple ones were leather, and that's partly why they were such silly prices compared to the <$10 Chinese ones… but now I see from the specs these are also polyurethane … Mmmmmm…

Smart Covers (front only protection) have also come in polyurethane, but from memory Smart Cases (rear and front protection) have been leather.
My iPad Air Smart Cover isn't leather but it's held up well.
The last Apple leather Smart Covers was pre iPad Air when they had exposed metal.
According to Apple's website, the smart case is leather.

Didn't buy any of the iPad covers but I got one leather case for my iPhone 5s which's case cracked after I ran over it with my car (lol). Perfect timing and looks like it'll be delivered pretty quick as well. Cheers OP!

These are mostly for superseded models.
Can someone confirm if their iPad mini cover is original? I've send a msg to their eBay store and the reply is that this is NOT a genuine apple product ? Kinda misleading isn't it with all the apple word on the description …

It should be a genuine Apple product per their advertisement. If not, you can always lodge a paypal claim - "item not as described".
They're issuing refunds with added $10 e-gift cards due to a software issue with stock levels
Never buy from Telstra again.
I think they realized they are selling item below cost and now they are not honoring the order.
Giving a $10 e-gift card is not going to get back their reputation.
