Hi Guys,
My dad is visiting us in Australia for a year and he is 60 yo and sometimes need medical attention for his low back pain where typically GP refer him to specialist.
Last time when he came here he had local minimum medical insurance from overseas company which is where we had nightmare in placing our claims. So this time we want to be in better situation wrt his insurance provider.
my family( hubby myself and 2 kids) are with BUPA.
Appreciate your help and recommendations for his medical insurance.
Can he get the highest level travel insurance possible locally?
I don't know if a non resident could get Australian health insurance…I'm assuming so but I don't know.
As with everything like this , call BUPA , Medibank etc and get quotes.
