    Note the business headquarters is in China and there's no presence in Australia, so this is most likely coming as a grey import (probably from China) so since it's over $1000 value don't forget to add GST and customs duty fee through customs to the price.

    I just purchased the Advanced for $1399 (it's new RRP) and would have paid an extra $300 for the pro but there you go.

    This price is now the new RRP in Australia and will fit below the soon to be announced new model in terms of price/performance.

      yup, you can by this from local suppliers like Rise Above (and I assume others) for the new price now.

      I too got the advanced and would have sprung for the pro for an additional $300, but I guess with backpack + extra batteries it all adds up :)

      You may be getting charged $AUD but the stock wouldn't actually be in Australia it will be coming from China or Hong Kong. So as i said a few times already customs duty/GST will be needed to be paid on top.

        As I understand it is sent from the Australian Distributor 'EEhobbies', so it will be locally sent, and the price includes GST.

    I wish I knew about this before I purchased the advanced just 2 weeks ago…
    although on March 1 the new DJI drone will be out, though at a RRP of probably 2.6k or there about.

    Oh and the reason I would prefer the professional vs the advanced is that the video downstream on the
    pro is 10Mbps vs the advanced of 2Mbps and when watching the downlink video stream on a large device like
    an ipad you can tell that it is a little low-res.

    How does the pro compare to the standard?
    Can get the standard for $687 from Kogan ebay at the moment with the 20% off code
