About the Event

• On Friday 7th October (our official birthday), with our Presenting Partner ANZ, Taronga will host the Zoo party of the century to celebrate 100 years of roaring, laughter, conservation, wonder and scientific research – and you’re invited.

• You can register in the ballot now to come to Taronga Zoo for FREE, on our birthday, to join us for this milestone and be a part of the celebrations.

• As it’s our official birthday, on the 7th October 2016 you will NOT be able to buy a ticket to come to the Zoo – Taronga Zoo Sydney will be closed to the general public.

• Tickets will be available by BALLOT ONLY, and you need to have won free entry into Taronga’s birthday party to visit the Zoo on this special day.

• Our birthday party will be a day of celebration and festivities. There will be special experiences with our amazing animals, unique presentations, and more to enjoy.

From the T&Cs

• Entry is only open to Australian residents who are able to travel to Taronga Zoo in Sydney, NSW (at their own expense) to attend Taronga Zoo’s 100th Birthday Party event on 07/10/2016 (“Birthday Party”), if drawn as a winner.
• Promotion commences at 12:01am AEDST on 01/02/2016 and final entries close at 11:59pm AEST on 03/08/2016
• Only one (1) entry permitted per person
• There are five thousand (5,000) passes to the Birthday Party available to be won, which will be awarded in the form of Double Passes (valued at $92 each) and Family Passes (valued at $129.60 each). The Promoter will draw up to 2,500 valid entries, and will award, in consecutive order, each winner with the type of pass they nominated on their entry form (i.e. Double Pass or Family Pass), until all 5,000 passes have been awarded (subject to clause 14). For the sake of clarity, subject to the number of entries received overall, the Promoter will draw a minimum of 1,250 and a maximum of 2,500 entries in the draw, depending on the type of passes nominated by the entrants drawn.
  In the event there are only two (2) passes remaining (out of all passes available) and the next valid entry drawn had requested a Family Pass, that winner will only receive a Double Pass.
• Any cost associated with travel/to from the Birthday Party will be the responsibility of the winner and will not be borne by the Promoter. All adult Birthday Party attendees will be required to provide original and valid proof of identity (i.e. drivers licence, proof of age card, or passport) at the Taronga Zoo Birthday Party entrances to be able to enter.
• Total prize pool value is up to $230,000.
