I got a free Huawei case and headphones for my Nexus 6P from a Huawei stand in Westfield's Chatswood. They take your imei number down and give you the items for free.
I bought my Nexus from the Google Store so it never came with the case or headphones.

I got them from Vodafone, the earphones have OK sound quality but fit terribly.
Fit fine for me, they're kinda like Apple Earpods in the sense that they either fit, or they don't. Sound quality was pretty awful, but you can't beat free.
I agree, sound quality is awful compared to my Xiaomi Pistons, but they are free, at least. The case is alright though.

They haven't had this since launch, they have given free ones away in some shopping centres well after launch and it's not well publicised. Optus, Virgin and Vodafone had these bundled with most of their early stock but but not all purchasers received them and in the case of optus many people were told there was no bundle whereas some where shipped to customers who purchased online with their orders, some later and some didn't get anything.
Some like the headphones and some don't but most don't like the sharp edges on the case.

What part of Optus, Virgin and VODAFONE had these bundled with MOST of their EARLY stock but NOT ALL purchasers received them is difficult to understand? Sheesh it's not that hard to understand that YOU did not order ALL the stock from Vodafone so you cannot say that EVERY single person received the case and headphones nor that I mentioned THREE companies were involved with this bonus stock.

What a carrier our store gives away as a bonus for buying a Nexus from them is up to them, but as a default nexus phones don't come with earphones or a cover, ever. Have you ever bought a Nexus and seen there's a cover or earphones inside the box?

You said a Nexus NEVER comes with a case or headphones and you were proven wrong. Most of these bundles were shrink wrapped by Huawei who manufactured the phone and manufactured the accessories.
And the manufacturer is given these away to owners. But by all means you keep telling yourself that no Nexus comes with headphones or case.

The case isn't very good…If you hold your phone with your pinky cradling the bottom of the phone, it'll start cutting into your finger. I'd recommend the Nillkin Frosted Shield or Nature cases instead.
Also, the headphones are pretty poor quality…
Headphone was badly designed. Doesn't stay close in ear without the help of the included rubber 'skins', and this rubber things were stretched after a couple of days and came off the earpods all the time or twisted around the earpods and block the holes on it. Most of the time the rubber thing stays in my ear after I take the headphone off.
On/off, volume control was designed by idiots I guess: buttons were placed on a round cylinder which means you don't know where the buttons are, and have to press around the cylinder hopefully one day you will find them to press.
i just went and picked mine up from City store… they said its been there since day one but dont think they advertise it enough..

I called Huawei Australia support line & they had no idea of the current promotion running!!
However, they just told me to take my 6P to an Experience Centre and ask if the promo is still valid.
Anyone know if anywhere in Brisbane or Sunshine Coast to get these?
