FREE PC Game: Consortium - The Master Edition @ GOG

1120

Game One of the iDGi-1 Trilogy.

Taking place entirely aboard a massive futuristic aircraft, CONSORTIUM is a first person science-fiction role-playing experience unlike any other. The story begins in our world - the "real world" - where we here at Interdimensional Games have developed a satellite (iDGi-1) capable of opening a digital rift through time and space…

Anyone with an internet connection can travel through this rift and awaken within an alternate dimension from our own - the "game world" - in the year 2042.

Content notice: No actual internet connection is required in order to play Consortium.

Experience an all original orchestral score by award winning composer Jeremy Soule!
Act as detective investigating an on-board murder, while simultaneously playing peacemaker to a large band of mercenaries who seem to want YOU dead.

Or play diplomacy with a smoking barrel, and let the tragedies continue to mount.
The story unfolds based largely on your actions. You may use diplomacy and talk your way through the entire game - never shooting anyone! OR, decide to use deadly or non-lethal force.

Perhaps in return you can help kickstart their next game. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/idgi/consortium-the-tow…

Reading that this game is buggy, still an issue or nostly resolved now?

    • +2

Resolved. That was at release only.

  • Great find, thanks !

This is a fairly decent game in the 'emergent/reactive' rpg arena. If you like Deus Ex, think like that, but more talky and not as polished.
It breaks the 4th wall a bit in interesting ways too.

    Worth a shot for $0.

I kickstarted it for very little money a long while back.

Decent & free. Thanks for the share.

  • Thanks OP. If I've calculated the time correctly, the offer ends at 1:00am Sunday morning AEST. Nice and easy to claim, just be logged into your GOG account and click on the "Get it Free" button.

    • yeah that was too easy.. i thought i was doing something wrong cos it wasn't appearing in my cart ^_^

      cheers OP

  • Thanks TA greatly appreciated.

  • Can't beat free, thanks TA

  • I haven't been able to download the game. Also installed the GOG Galaxy client but a missing/corrupt .dll file stopped it from working. Any tips?

  • Can't claim it, on the product page the "get it" link just goes to:

    https://www.gog.com/#giveaway

Which is the banner at the top of the front screen, which then links back to the product page…

    Any tips?

  • Claimed. Thanks a bunch, this looks fun. I'm checking out the Kickstarter too, sounds like with money and freedom these folks can make something very win. Cheers Skazclaw.
