I am planning a trip from ADL-SIN-NRT return around July 16 and not to keen on hopping on different flights, so planning to just fly with Singapore Air.
What are some tips to get a low cost flight? Book early? Book late? Wait for a special?
I have tried searching on iwantthatflight but it never looks any cheaper when I have looked compared to just booking with Singapore Air direct.
When in July? School holidays (early July) are difficult to obtain cheap flights.

How about return to Singapore on Singapore airlines.
Then save a bit on sin<->nrt by booking with another direct flying carrier. Eg scoot.

Yes, need a stopover in SGP.
I check the prices of splitting airlines.
Scoot flies those routes.
Prolly be cheaper.
