Hello all,
I signed up to a 12 month BYO $70 plan with Telstra in November when they ran their $240 off an outright handset promotion.
Since then i've had nothing but problems and complaints.
In that time frame i've been given 3 faulty phones. With the third handset being faulty since early December and Telstra only now agreeing to give me a refund after going to Fair trading.
They aren't agreeing to terminate the contract as they feel there hasn't been anything wrong with the service. I can see where they're coming from but for me i've had to waste so much time constantly chasing them up about the phone. The store didn't want to help me they told me to speak to Samsung, Samsung tells me the phone is faulty and to speak with Telstra. Telstra complaints would tell me someone will contact me in 48 hours which would never happen and then it changed to they had a back log.
If I cancel my contract I'm stuck paying early termination fee's which work out to be $500+
Anyone been in a similar situation offer any advice ?
Thanks heaps for the help.
