I don't think the quality is comparable to Huggies or BabyLove; besides these are Nappy Pants not Nappies which Aldi have on Sale.
Nappy Pants are a dream for wriggly toddlers!
i see, i'm not at that stage yet but i see what you mean, we tried huggies, aldi, and some other brands but not babylove yet so we may have to give them a go
Is babylove nappy pants as good as huggies? I used another brand brand and it was leaking badly. Huggies is quite good for the night, so any comments on babylove?
I used Huggies exclusively when my son was a newborn and unfortunately they failed to catch no.3's. They just don't seem to come up high enough at the back.
Switched to BabyLove and have no complaints, super absorbent and keep him dry. Have since used the odd Huggies nappy and now that he is on solid food and have not had issues as no.3's are a thing of the past. Huggies are still a quality nappy but I think much of their reputation is due to good marketing.
BabyLove are a high quality nappy which are not often on sale.
Excuse my ignorance, but what are number 3's?
edit: never mind, I just googled it :)
Well, what is it?
Nothing can catch number 3's!!! I don't miss those experiences!
Babylove use during the day, huggies for night.
Stock them up
so it's easier put on but less in quantity.
Aldi toddler is 50 for $10.99 = 0.21c
This one is 28 for 8.49 = 0.30c (if on sale)
I am a new dad and genuine question whether or not this is worth it? I have been using mamia newborn so far and they work great.
quick scenario if you buy 100 of these, you'll pay $9 more than the aldi's
Nappy Pants won't fit your newborn; when your kid starts crawling all over the place and won't hold still on the change table for 2 seconds then you'll want the Nappy Pants. Sizes start from around 9Kg which is about 8/9 month old.
yes i know it wont fit the newborn :)
but it's not too far away and might stock up if this actually great bargain.
They are good value at this price. With both of our kids we used nappy pants in the day.
For nights we used nappies and especially Huggies band for nappies at night. We always found Baby Love was good quality but just not exactly to same level as huggies for long hours.
…and won't hold still on the change table for 2 seconds
You need lessons mate.
I have 4 kids and with each child I have always found nappy pants harder to put on, as I use a changetable & the child is not standing up when I change the nappy.
However, they are brilliant to use when your child turns 2 years old & you are toilet training. To me the benefit of a nappy pant is more of a psychological benefit, transitioning the child to undies. Once my son started using nappy pants he didn't want to wear nappies again, and was happy to start using underwear & start toilet training.
@kwetiaw Aldi toddler you mentioned is nappy and OP is nappy pants. Therefore, there is a price difference as nappy pants are more expensive compared to nappy.
To compare apples with apples, look at the BabyLove nappies deal posted by @free below, which works out slightly cheaper at 0.20ยข. I have not used BabyLove nappies for my child before, so I cannot comment on how good it is. But I have used the BabyLove nappy pants and they are great.
BabyLove Nappy Pants; the sale at MyChemist is for regular BabyLove Nappies.
Thanks for the link, we're not using nappy pants yet so this is perfect for us
If it is soldout online, give your local store a call and they'll be able to order some in for you. Takes a day or two for the nappies to arrive. Max buy 3 boxes which contain 12 packs.
I love these nappy pants for our two year old. Wears them at overnight (and we use the cheaper Coles brand during the day). Very comfortable - more so than the Huggies ones. Of course, every kid is different and it takes trial and error - what works for a while may not work later as they grow.
Bought 10 and just got delivered 1. The website still has them instock but at the non-discounted price. Customer care just informed me that if I want more than one I should order at the current price as their T&Cs state they don't do rainchecks. Sounds very dishonest to me!!
Yep it's dishonest alright. Same thing used to happen to us all the time with coles online. They would often bring items that were different also.. Now we go in store and have zero issues.
i have to say the Aldi ones still seem to be a better deal and the quality is up there as well
